Destination Wedding at La Residencia - A Belmond Hotel, Mallorca

Bella and Alex chose Belmond La Residencia in Deià for their October wedding. It was a small group, with everyone coming together at the hotel for the ceremony and the evening afterwards.


Bella works as a wedding planner, which made this one a little different for us. She knew exactly what she liked and had been involved in putting everything together herself, right down to the dinner tables.


October in Deià has a different feel to the middle of summer. The light is softer, the evenings arrive a little earlier and the mountains around La Residencia become a big part of the setting.


We were there for both photography and film, starting with the preparations and staying through the evening. Having Bella’s eye for detail on one side and everything that naturally happened between their friends and family on the other gave us plenty to photograph and film throughout the day.
