Destination Wedding at Finca Son Mir, Mallorca

Veronica and Christian live in New York and decided to have their wedding at Son Mir in Mallorca. They had everyone together in one place, with the entire celebration happening at the finca.

They got ready there in the afternoon and had the ceremony outside. Dinner followed in the courtyard and the party was inside later that night. There was enough time between everything, so nobody seemed to be watching the clock.

We were with them from the afternoon onwards and kept filming into the party. Son Mir is a venue we know very well, so we already knew where we wanted to be at certain times of the day and where the evening light would work best.

What we remember most about Veronica and Christian’s wedding is how easygoing everyone was. It was a beautiful day, but it never felt overly formal. People talked, laughed, stayed at the tables long after dinner and eventually ended up together on the dance floor.
