Destination Wedding in Tuscany, Italy

Dominique and Robert live in the UK, but Tuscany was where they wanted everyone to meet for the wedding. They chose Country Relais & Spa Le Capanne and went for black tie, which looked great against the much more rustic surroundings of the property.

Dominique plans weddings for a living, so naturally she had opinions about the details. And quite a few of them. She had been involved in everything and knew exactly what she wanted to see on the day.

Le Capanne is also a very personal place for us. We got married there ourselves in 2018, so coming back with our cameras felt slightly strange in the best possible way. We know every corner of the property, but this time we were seeing it through Dominique and Robert’s wedding instead of our own.

We were there to film the day, and being back brought up quite a few memories for both of us. It’s not often that we get to work at the exact place where we once stood on the other side of the cameras.
