Destination Wedding at La Residencia - A Belmond Hotel, Mallorca

Marissa and Anthony’s wedding at Belmond La Residencia in Deià was not the typical Mallorca summer day. Instead of blue skies, they had rain from the morning onwards, which gave the whole celebration a completely different look.


The team adapted throughout the day, with Anna Maria creating the floral design together with her team and Floria bringing the décor and details together around the venue.


The ceremony, dinner and evening all took place with the weather as part of the story. Once the music started, the focus quickly moved away from the rain and towards the celebration itself. The DJ kept the energy high, and Anthony eventually joined him behind the decks for part of the night.


We photographed and filmed the wedding from the preparations through to the party. Looking back, the weather was just one small part of the day. What stands out most are the people, the reactions and everything that happened in between.
